Recently I was having a conversation with a good friend and she made such a wonderful point... "some of us are dirt/mountain people, others of us are water/sand people"  I am definitely the second.

I am not only fascinated with water, oceans, lakes, but feel the need to always be as close as I can be to the source.

Many of the families that I photograph must intuitively know this about me and we tend to do many of our sessions close to the water.
